Jim is an experienced business systems architect and project manager with a track-record of highly successful projects in both corporate and start-up environments, primarily as an independent consultant and contractor in Silicon Valley, where he led teams of developers creating database-driven business applications for major corporations and smaller start-ups. He is also the founder of Hyperlocal Community Classifieds, a startup currently in the funding stage.
Acting locally, Jim was responsible for bringing the Citizens Climate Lobby to Whidbey Island (he later left the group due to its partisanship). Later, he and his wife, Jane, organized Occupy Whidbey Island. Jim is responsible for all functions of the GAC enterprise during the startup phase, including designing, creating and managing the business and IT environments and the software needed for the GAC service.
